EP FOUNDATION
Our curriculum starts with the basics of anatomy and the conduction system, designed to give the beginning learner the perspective of physiology and an understanding of how arrhythmias affect the circulatory system. We progress to fundamentals of action potential, mechanisms of activation and activation sequences before moving to catheter positioning and ECG / EGM layout.

EP PRINCIPLES
Once the foundation is set, we move to more advanced subjects such as EGM rhythm recognition and baseline measurements. From there we do a deep dive into both atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and finally have advanced subjects such as stimulation protocols and radio-frequency ablation.

EP
PACING
Our third course covers pacemaking topics and applications such as lead technology overviews, capture, sensing and threshold testing and advanced laser lead extraction.

EGM STORYBOARDS
After the first three modules, you’ll be prepared to sit for the RCES examination. EGM Storyboards are designed to take EP knowledge to the next level – the IBHRE certification proctored by Heart Rhythm Society. We teach advanced differential diagnosis for all the different arrhythmias, as well as other very complex topics, in an easy-to-learn format using static EGM images and pointing out all the subtle nuances.
